Gonzaga University, established in 1887 by Jesuit priest Joseph Cataldo, is a private Jesuit institution located in Spokane, Washington. The university’s 152-acre campus is situated along the Spokane River, approximately half a mile from downtown Spokane.

Student Life:

The Gonzaga Student Body Association oversees various clubs and activities, and the university’s weekly student newspaper, The Gonzaga Bulletin, keeps the campus informed. Additionally, Gonzaga’s athletic teams, known as the Bulldogs or ‘Zags’, compete in NCAA Division I sports, with basketball being particularly prominent.
