SAN ANTONIO, TX – March 30, 2025 – A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing in Northwest Bexar County has been found safe, authorities confirmed early Sunday morning.

Ramona Shanti Armstrong was last seen around 3:45 a.m. on March 29, 2025, in the 7600 block of Barhill Post Street. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), she was believed to have been picked up by an unknown male. Her phone was later discovered abandoned, prompting officials to issue an Amber Alert.

Authorities identified 24-year-old Nathaniel Edward Gonzales as a person of interest in the case. He was taken into custody for questioning, though officials have not yet confirmed whether charges will be filed.

Search and Recovery Efforts

The BCSO and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) conducted an extensive search after Armstrong’s family reported her missing. Law enforcement utilized surveillance footage and witness reports to track her whereabouts.
