The legendary artist, known for hits like On the Road Again and Always on My Mind, continues to leave a lasting impact on country and folk music.
New Album: A Tribute to Rodney Crowell
Nelson recently announced his 77th studio album, titled Oh What A Beautiful World, set for release on April 25, 2025. The album is a tribute to singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell and will feature 12 reimagined versions of Crowell’s compositions. The lead single, Oh What a Beautiful World, was released in March 2025, featuring a duet between Nelson and Crowell.
2025 Outlaw Music Festival Tour
In addition to the new album, Nelson has confirmed his participation in the 2025 Outlaw Music Festival Tour. The tour will feature an impressive lineup, including Bob Dylan, Billy Strings, The Avett Brothers, and several other artists. The festival will travel across multiple U.S. cities, with newly added stops in Oklahoma, Texas, and California.

Additionally, in Austin, Texas, a beloved mural of Nelson, originally painted in 2016, was recreated after the original was demolished due to building damage. The updated version, painted by artist Wiley Ross, features added elements such as horses, sunflowers, and the Texas flag to symbolize Nelson’s connection to freedom and community.
